Yield Not to Temptation

Don't let Satan cause you to sin,
For he's the shortcoming and falling of men.
He may be stronger than you and me,
But with God on our side ole' Satan will flee!
If you're tempted with sin from day to day,
Then turn to God and take time to pray.
Pray temptation you will overcome,
Pray to God, "Thy will be done."

Satan gives us sores, bruises, heartache and pain,
But we must pray for strength in Jesus' name.
Here on earth Satan appears to be strong,
But in God's house the Devil is unknown.
Don't doubt God, not even less than a minute.
Live right in this world while you are in it,
Because when our life has gone and perished away,
There will surely be a judgment day.

All men will stand before God's throne.
You don't want God to catch you in the wrong.
If God's will on earth has been done,
Then the crown of life will be won.
So spread the good news-- the gospel-- all through the nation.
And try all through this life to yield not to temptation
